TOUR DETAILS
This day is dedicated to one of the most popular parts of Tuscany, the Orcia river Valley, a UNESCO heritage for the beauty of the landscape so accurately modeled by nature and men.
H 9:00/ We will drive to Pienza, explore the town and then either have a 6k walk or drive to a nearby organic farm where we will be introduced to Pecorino (ewe cheese) making
H 12:00/ Tasting lunch based on the products of the farm (those opting for the walk will skip the cheese making session and join the rest of the group for lunch). In the afternoon we will drive to Montepulciano, explore the town and visit the wine cellars that are still in the historic centre.
Optional:
It is possible to include other 2 wine estates located in the environs of Montepulciano.
